What You Can Expect From Your MDC Experience …

CABINETRY AND NON-CABINETRY DESIGN CONSULTATION

  • Discuss your expectations, needs & wants through review of MDC design questionnaire
  • Discuss cabinetry lines’ doors / finishes / accessory options
  • Discuss budget / allowances
  • Discuss project timeline
  • Discuss retainer

What to bring to your cabinetry and non-cabinetry design consultation?

  • Floor plans
  • Pictures of design ideas
  • Appliance wish list
  • Completed design questionnaire

During consultation you receive …

  • Welcome Bag with exclusive home products
  • Literature on cabinetry & non-cabinetry products
  • Design Idea book to organize client ‘tear-outs’ from design magazines

JOBSITE MEASURING & EVALUATION APPOINTMENT

  • Preliminary measurement of space by Design Specialist
  • Non-Cabinetry designer does preliminary evaluation of space – including photographing of spaces needing non-cabinetry selections and the taking of preliminary measurements

DESIGNING & PRICING OF PRELIMINARY CABINETRY & NON-CABINETRY

  • Your design specialist will electronically send preliminary floor plans & elevations with pricing for review within ten business days – including noncabinetry selections.
  • You then express your likes & dislikes – including budget overages or shortfalls

CONCEPT PREVIEW APPOINTMENT

  • Designer(s) present concept elevations and pricing schemes
  • You will express your likes & dislikes – including budget overages or shortfalls

REVISIONS OF PLANS / PRICING OF PLANS

  • Based on your comments from preliminary plans, your design specialists will electronically revise and send elevations and/or pricing schematics to reflect changes within three business days.

FINAL CLIENT APPROVAL

  • Client signs Purchase Agreement and Product Selections Packet and remits deposits.
  • Contractor and Client are given delivery week

FIELD MEASUREMENT & CONTRACTOR CONSULTATION AT JOBSITE

  • Designer(s) does final measurement of space
  • Designer(s) does final marking of space for Contractor
  • Designer(s) meet with Contractor and/or Tradesman to review elevations and markings
  • Order is released into final production

DELIVERY DAY

  • Contractor is given specific day and time of delivery
  • Designer(s) is at delivery to check all products are what was ordered and inspects for damage
  • You will receive ‘cleaning’ bucket with products and care instructions

3-MONTH FOLLOW-UP

  • You and your contractor are contacted to make sure there are no questions or concerns on any products sold to you by MDC
  • You and your contractor are given Customer Satisfaction Survey

6-MONTH FOLLOW-UP

  • You and your contractor are contacted to make sure there are no questions or concerns on any products sold to you by MDC
  • You are contacted to make an appointment for MDC’s photographer to take photos of the space(s) where MDC has provided product and design services.

1 YEAR FOLLOW-UP

  • You are contacted to make sure there are no questions or concerns on any products sold to you by MDC
